WDMCS is seeking school bus drivers to join our team for the 2023-24 school year.
These full-time positions work a minimum of 6 hours per day during the school year (6am-9am, 2pm-5pm). There are many opportunities for additional hours!
Increased wages available if you have prior years of experience driving K-12 school buses.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide transportation in accordance with District policy and procedure as well as local, state and federal laws and regulations.
- Follow designated routes accurately, in accordance with time schedules and stops.
- Conduct safe and orderly loading and unloading of students.
- Maintain order and discipline on the school bus at all times.
- Perform routine operator maintenance to including but not limited to: pre/post inspections, sweeping interior, wiping upholstery, cleaning windshields, reporting equipment defects and presenting bus for maintenance.
- Participate in all training pertaining to the job.
- Report all accidents immediately to the Transportation Supervisor or designee.
- Complete and submit daily mileage, student conduct/incident or other reports and documentation as required.
- Keep and handle all student information in a confidential manner.
- Maintain route books, keep organized with current information.
- Operate a school bus or other district vehicles safely at all times.
- Participate in all required drug and alcohol testing.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Operate vehicles during inclement weather.
- Complete all safety training as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
